Roundoff

These notes combine advice from 4 reviewed passages across 3 workouts.

A roundoff uses some speed and more complete turning and lifting than a cartwheel. The feet come together during the handstand phase, followed by a two-foot landing. [1] [3] [4]

Bring the feet together during the handstand phase and land on both feet. This foot position distinguishes the movement from a cartwheel, which starts and finishes with the feet apart. [1] [2]

Use a fuller turn and lift than in a cartwheel. Avoid setting the arms too wide, since excessive width can make them lift one at a time. [3] [4]
