Rabbit Push-up
These notes combine advice from 5 reviewed passages across 4 workouts.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Rabbit Push-up has more than one described form. One form combines a push-up with both feet moving inward and back together. A separate variation uses a slow backward descent through the fingertips instead of the inward foot movement. [2] [3] [4] [5]
Inward-jump form
Section titled “Inward-jump form”Perform the push-up, jump both feet inward together, and return them backward. Keep the knees together throughout the foot movement so that no gap opens between them. [2] [3] [4]
Keep both hands planted and do not rise into a burpee. Hold the inward position for one second before sending the feet back. With the feet close to the hands, the arms may briefly relax. [3]
Forward-lean sequence
Section titled “Forward-lean sequence”For the sequence described with elevated feet, lean forward, perform the push-up, and then draw the feet inward. [1]
Backward-descent variation
Section titled “Backward-descent variation”In the separate variation, lower backward slowly through the fingertips. This version does not use the inward-and-back foot action. [5]
